Personal Commitment is critically important to drive zero harm culture. In today’s industry, What is zero harm? What does zero harm mean to you?
In this blog, I will share the importance of zero harm mindest which is one of the key factors in implementing 100%HSE, driving employees' participation in HSE programs and recognizing safe behaviors and actions.
At the heart of ADNOC L&S operations there are over 2000 seafarers operating the company’s 300 versatile vessels transporting over 28MM MT to 65+ ports, 50+ countries, as well as employees and frontliners delivering the company’s Offshore Logistics, Marine Services and Onshore Services.
ADNOC L&S’ implementation of the Culture of CARE (Care, Accountability, Recognition, Entrust) sets the groundwork for taking actions today as well as improving workplace safety for the future. Everyone has a role to play, everyone is empowered to contribute.
Safety and efficiency goals are driven by decisions and strategies often guided by our own experiences, the lessons we learn from them, and the personal commitments we make to both ourselves and our co-workers.
Getting zero harm right means that employees and contractors are not just healthy and engaged but remain motivated and connected at all times to accept and deliver their personal responsibilities, looking out for themselves and their colleagues.
Our transformation journey towards zero harm should continue this year on these two guiding principles: a zero-harm mindset and a belief that all injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable; no repeats, with all necessary steps taken to learn from incidents and prevent recurrence.
As a leader, I believe that transforming culture and leadership is truly absolutely critical in ensuring zero harm in the workplace.
In the process of reassuring the delivery of Accelerate 100X in the next phase of our HSE transformational journey, we must collectively play the role of 100X ambassadors within our teams, effectively implement the HSE&AI Assurance Program, enhance personnel development by embracing CARE behaviors and proactively utilize channels of communication to foster the One Team spirit.

Great Blog!
It is imperative to have zero-harm mindset by every individual in ADNOC. Because Safety is everyone's responsibility.
We all should play our part in implementing 'Culture of CARE'.
