Get to know Burhan Al Mufti, Specialist, Sustainability (Environment) HSE, who was selected as one of the 50 Influential Leaders in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) by The Carbon Collective Company.

Throughout the past 18 years, Burhan Al Mufti, SPECIALIST, SUSTAINABILITY (ENVIRONMENT) HSE has been contributing to the development of the company’s environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives to boost its environmental performance. in the last. He dedicated 10 years to sustainability and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporting, creating function teams to monitor GRI indicators, and leading the company’s sustainability team.

Recently, Burhan was recognized by The Carbon Collective Company for his contribution. He has been selected as one of the most influential ESG leaders in the Middle East for 2022.

Some of his contribution towards sustainability are listed below

• Developed all Environment and Energy Management System to get ISO 14001 certificate.
• As a team leaver to spark initiatives for energy saving, carbon reduction, waste reduction as below: Biofuel Initiative, stop using bottled water, Represent Corporate HSE in the Projects Light team for monitoring and evaluating carbon reduction initiatives and projects
• Worked with the team as we won Sustainability Award 2022- Idea of the year- UK
• Member of ADNOC 2030 Waste Reduction Roadmap Taskforce & ADNOC EnMS Committee
• Certified CSR practitioner, EnMS Lead Implementer and NEBOSH Controlling Environmental Hazards
